The Byron Hanke Fellowship supports graduate students working on research projects related to the development, governance, and management of common interest communities. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program and must be working on a research project that has relevance to community associations.
Fellowship funding ranges from $3,000 to $5,000 and is awarded in three equal installments throughout the research from inception through completion of the research project. The award is administered by the Foundation for Community Association Research (FCAR), part of the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
